You must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid drivers license to rent a golf cart from Erie Island Carts.
Golf carts are licensed motor vehicles and all traffic laws must be obeyed. This includes drinking and driving and open container laws. Drivers are fully responsible for any violation thereof or damage to a cart.
When making an online reservation, your credit card is charged the day your reservation is accepted. A confirmation e-mail will be sent to you once availability is confirmed and your reservation is accepted.
While we make every effort to meet the demand for golf carts, we do have a limited supply. Therefore, reservations made the same day as your arrival can not be guaranteed until availability is confirmed and you receive a confirmation email. Please make advance reservations whenever possible.
Since we guarantee to hold your cart and not rent it to anyone else, online reservations must be cancelled 24 hours prior to the date of arrival so that we can offer it to other customers. If cancellation is made within the required time frame, a full refund minus a $15 internet transaction fee will be issued. Cancellation must be made by e-mailing us and a copy of the e-mail is proof of cancellation in the event of a dispute.
