All of our carts are equipped with security cables/ locks. When not in use, please lock the steering wheel with the safety cable and take the key with you. FEEL FREE TO BRING YOUR OWN LOCK, especially for overnight rentals.

The back seat folds out on most carts so that you have room for luggage. Keep in mind that you will loose passenger seating when the luggage rack is in use. There is also a small space under the back seat for hand luggage/ small cooler.

All of our golf carts are gasoline powered. Depending on usage, a tank will generally last 2 - 3 days. If you have more than a 2 day rental, we will show you how to check the gas. First tank is FREE!

Golf carts are licensed motor vehicles and the same rules apply as driving a car. You can get an open container violation or DUI on a golf cart so please plan accordingly and have a designated driver. Safety first!!

They are not permitted to drive the golf cart ~ thank you! FYI... We do have a dog park on the island located off Langram Rd. near the airport!!

ERIE ISLAND CART RENTAL POLICIES
You must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid drivers license to rent a golf cart from Erie Island Carts.
Golf carts are licensed motor vehicles and all traffic laws must be obeyed. This includes drinking and driving and open container laws. Drivers are fully responsible for any violation thereof or damage to a cart.
When making an online reservation, your credit card is charged the day your reservation is made. A confirmation e-mail will be sent to you confirming the reservation. Please double check the pick up date as refunds are not provided if you do not show on the requested date.
While we make every effort to meet the demand for golf carts, we do have a limited supply. Please make advance reservations whenever possible.
Since we guarantee to hold your cart and not rent it to anyone else, reservations must be cancelled 24 hours prior to the date of arrival so that we can offer it to other customers. If cancellation is made within the required time frame, a full refund will be issued. Cancellation must be made by e-mailing us and a copy of the e-mail is proof of cancellation in the event of a dispute.
